Trucking and CDL fleets (DOT)

• Trucking fleets, interstate and in-state. CDL drivers are under DOT testing even if the trucks never leave the state. $25 a driver a month. $99 minimum, which covers 1–3 drivers. Never more than $1,020 up to 50 drivers. 51–100 drivers: $20 each. Over 100, we quote.

• Owner-operators. Your consortium and C/TPA in the Clearinghouse, $19 a month.

• Construction contractors. CDL drivers under DOT, crews under your own policy, and the drug-free workplace rules some states attach to public works.

• Ready-mix, aggregates and dump fleets. Mixer and dump drivers rated 26,001 pounds or more need a CDL and a DOT program.

• Waste, roll-off and septic haulers. Local routes count: the CDL rules cover in-state drivers.
  Waste haulers
• Towing and recovery. DOT testing for CDL wreckers, plus Texas TDLR rules for every tow operator.
  Tow truck drivers
• Landscaping and tree care. When a truck and trailer need a CDL, and testing the rest of the crew.
  Landscaping companies
• Bus, limo and motorcoach companies. Vehicles built for 16 or more people, counting the driver, need a CDL, so their drivers are under DOT testing.
  Bus and limo drivers
• Moving companies. Trucks rated 26,001 pounds or more need a CDL; most box trucks don't.
  Movers
• Cities, counties and utilities. The government exemption in FMCSA's safety rules doesn't reach drug testing: public CDL drivers are covered.

Employers outside DOT

• Warehouses, manufacturers, staffing firms, offices and contractors. A $40 10-panel drug test at a Quest site, background checks from $35 (orders are taken now and start when Pact's Checkr account opens; Checkr then emails the person), random programs and state-law checks, with no monthly fee.

Healthcare and medical transportation

• Healthcare staffing agencies. Every worker's credentials checked against each facility's list, with share links for facilities. $10 per active worker a month, $250 minimum.
  Staffing agencies
• Home care, home health, hospice, nursing homes and hospitals. Your own staff's licenses, TB, CPR, registry and background checks, in-service hours and monthly exclusion checks. $10 per active staff member a month, $250 minimum.

Schools and nursing programs

• College nursing and allied health programs. Every student's immunizations, TB, CPR, background check and drug test tracked against each clinical site's list, with share links for sites. $30 per student, one-time.
