Nursing student immunization tracking
Immunization records are the slowest part of clinical clearance. Titers take weeks, hepatitis B runs on its own calendar, and every site words its rules a little differently. Pact tracks each item the way the rules actually work.

What health-care personnel guidance usually asks for
Clinical sites set their own lists, but most start from CDC and ACIP guidance for health care personnel. Common items:
- MMR: two doses at least 4 weeks apart, or lab evidence of immunity.
- Varicella: two doses, or other evidence of immunity. For health care personnel, being born before 1980 does not count as immunity.
- Hepatitis B: the vaccine series, then an anti-HBs blood test 1–2 months after the last dose. A level of 10 mIU/mL or more counts as immune. Below that, the person gets another series and is tested again.
- Tdap and a yearly flu vaccine. Some sites also ask about COVID-19.
- TB: CDC's 2019 recommendations call for baseline screening at hire: a risk assessment, a symptom check and a TB blood test or skin test. They say annual TB testing is not recommended without a known exposure or ongoing transmission, and annual TB education is recommended. Many sites still ask for a yearly test, so the site's rule wins.

Built for how immunization rules really work
More than one way to meet it
A requirement can be met by doses or by a titer. Each option has its own rules and renewal period, so a student with a positive titer isn't asked for shot records.
Hepatitis B on its own calendar
Track the series, the follow-up titer and a second series when needed. Reminders follow the dates the student is actually waiting on.
Declinations shown honestly
A signed declination or an exemption counts for your program. Each site's rules decide whether that site accepts it, and a site never sees it as a plain "Declined".
Seasonal flu deadlines
Set a due date for the current flu season by cohort. Students who haven't uploaded get reminders before it, and you see who's at risk.
TB the way each site words it
Skin test, blood test or chest X-ray, each with its own renewal period, plus any yearly symptom form a site asks for.
Reminders before expiry
Students get reminders 30, 14 and 7 days before anything runs out, by email.
Most uploads checked within minutes
Pact Compliance Review checks every upload, usually within minutes, 24/7. It approves the document and records its expiration date, or tells the student exactly what is wrong and what to upload instead. Anything only your program can decide, such as an exemption request, comes to you. Drug test results and background check reports are never part of it: they come straight from the lab and the screening partner.
A blurry photo, a record with someone else's name, or a titer with no result is sent back with the reason, so the student can fix it the same day.

Common questions
Does Pact give vaccines or titers?
No. Students get shots and blood tests from their own provider, pharmacy or student health office, then upload the records.
Can a titer replace shot records?
Yes, if your program and site allow it. Each requirement can accept doses or a titer, with its own rules.
How do you handle hepatitis B non-responders?
The requirement can track the series, the follow-up titer and a second series. Whether a student who stays below 10 mIU/mL can attend is your program's and your site's call, and Pact sends that decision to you.
Do students need a TB test every year?
CDC's 2019 recommendations say annual testing isn't recommended without a known exposure or ongoing transmission. Many clinical sites still require one. Pact follows whatever your site's rule says.
Can sites see the vaccine records?
Only through a share link you send. It shows only the students you choose, the access code goes separately, the link has an end date, and every view is logged.
